It all depends on your tastes.
If you want discos and beach, and don't mind the crowds of tourists and teenagers, then the Algarve (Portugal), Madeira island (Portugal), Andalucia (south of Spain), Ibiza or Marbella would be the place for you. Or else some of the greek islands, but I don't know which ones.
In other sites of Spain, in some villages in the Algarve, or in Porto Santo island near Madeira, there are also some more quiet beaches, where families go with children, and not so many teenagers.

If you want culture, walking in cities, museums... Rome, Florence, Lisbon (also beach nearby), Barcelona (also beach nearby), Salamanca, Toledo, Segovia, London, Dublin, Lyon...

If you prefer to be quiet in the countryside, there are some beautiful places in Alentejo (south of Portugal), Minho (north of Portugal), Galicia (Spain), Provence (south of France), Bretagne, Normandie, the mountains in Austria or Switzerland, Toscania (Italy), the English countryside, Scotland (and its lakes), the Azores...

Australia is beautiful.

?
I'VE BEEN TO SOME ISLANDS, TO PARTS OF EUROPE AND THEIR ISN'T ANYTHING THAT CAN COMPARE WITH THE U.S.A. FROM COST TO COST AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. ALL THE NATIONAL PARKS, THE MOUNTIANS, THE OCEANS, THE FARMLANDS, THE CITIES, AND THE COUNTRY SIDES. AND YOU CAN TRAVEL THE WHOLE COUNTRY WIYHOUT ANYONE BOTHERING YOU.

Leah
I say AUSTRALIA. It is the greatest. Lovely people, very fun and exciting and good food

I would suggestt Thailand...Any country in Southeast Asia really, but Thailand is my favorite...Once you spend the money to travel there, your money will go much farther than anywhere else in the world. Food is inexpensive, shopping is inexpensive, lodgins is inexpensive...and many people can speak english. Vietnam is GORGEOUS, and a lot safer than people would think. Cambodia is also a great spot...I would look into Southeast Asia...the most fun/beauty for your money.

In the Caribbean,Puerto Rico. Have all amenites of all Caribbean islans in one. Beautiful beaches, nice people, easy going with tourist, safe, US Dollars since is a USA territory.
Try to stay on little hotels out of San Juan Capital city, called PARADORES. Cheaper and friendly. Easy to drive cars can see in one day the whole coast. SAFE. Drive to the center mountains town.

If you like the beach, think about Kenya. It's humid and crowded, but cheap and very very beautiful. Mombasa - Maweni Beach Cottages...
