The Brits have their pound, and the Swiss have their Franks, and I think there's countries in Scandinavia who have other currencies than the Euro. Eastern Europe (like the Czech Republic) still have their own currency, but the Euro is widely accepted there.
The Deutschmark was abolished in 2002 and is history now.

We used to have Deutsche Mark (and no Deutschmarks, that's wrong)
but we were forced to use Euros from 1st January 2002 on.
And it's spelled "currency" and not cerrency........

The currency in Germany is the Euro, there are still some shops (in the former East Germany, maybe in the old German states as well) that still accept the beloved D-Mark.
