Winters there are mild and summers tend to be cool, though temperatures can exceed 30 °C (86 °F) for prolonged periods. In the east, the climate is more continental; winters can be very cold, summers can be very warm, and long dry periods are often recorded. You can, honestly, have all 4 seasons in one day.
I have seen it snow well past easter and I have had frost on my car during the summer months. Then again, I have gone out in shorts and a t-shirt in November and February. Germany has some of the most erratic weather I have ever seen. |
