You're probably thinking of Neuschwanstein castle. If you are coming to Germany to check out castles, you can travel the Romantic Road...it'll take you to all sorts of castles, and along the way sample local wine, food and culture. |

Neuschwanstein is a particular castle but I use to have fun "Castle Hoping" on the Mosel River. Lots of castles, and back then it was about 50 cents to sleep in your sleeping bag in them. |

The Castle in Heidelberg is famous and beautiful!
If you want to see more, drive along the Neckar River in Heidelberg and you will pass many smaller castles. The road is called the "Burgenstrasse" (The Castle Road). |
