Besides the animals already mentioned, in the eastern part of
Germany we have about 500 wild Nandus (South America) and
about 30 Kangaroos surviving winter time very well.
No joke! |

Lots of Birds, Squirrels, Rabbits, Hares, Deer, Hedgehogs, Beavers, Owls, Salamander, Turtles, Ducks, Geese, Storks....plus the "unkind" animals, like wild boars, wolves, etc...coming in from Poland, etc |

In the wild where i live . . .
I see crows, storks, woodpeckers, geese, swans, a bird called a lake fisher in english, very large doves . . .
a variety of different local birds.
I have seen the German eagles and owls in the north.
I see deers, beavers, foxes, hedgehogs, hares, squirrels, wessels, mice, some small snakes. I have seen a Linx once in the North.
Hedgehogs often get run over on the road. Sometimes, a young deer gets hit too.
In the zoos, there are all kinds of animals . . .
There are bears, wolves and boars that run free, but I have not seen any in the forests where I live. They are not know to live where I am, but they could roam here. I live in the western forest. I did not luckily or unluckily run into any when I have been to other forests that supposedly have them. |

SQUIRRELS. Tons of them. That's pretty much all I saw.
OH, and dogs that are able to be taken into restaurants.
