What should I see and do in Germany? Deutch ist auch ok!? |
I will be in Germany this summer for the last half of the World Cup. Obviously, I will get a lot of the games in one way or the other. But I was wondering where are some places I should go or things I should do while I'm there. I'm up for the back road stuff especially.

It all depends on where you are staying. If you are anywhere near the Rhein it can be very fun to take a boat ride up or down the Rhein. If the weather is nice, there isn't a pretty sight to see with all the castles and small towns that dot the Rhein. It's really worth a look and I believe that it won't cost too much. I recommend maybe going from Koblenz to Koeln on the Rhein (or at least in that direction). I believe that you can also get off at the various stops and get back on with your pass. It's worth a look. Hope this helps!

Munich and Frankfurt are good cities to see and plan day-trips from. From Munich, which has a fantastic amount of things to see there, you also take the train to see Passau, Innsbruck in Austria, and other small cities of interest. From Frankfurt you can visit Cologne, Mainz, and Heidelberg quite easily, in addition to other cities in that region. |

I know German but don't know anything about Germany and thus don't have any direct answers for your question.
However, I will point out that "Deutch" in the title throws it off. It's "Deutsch"- it's a terrible thing to make a mistake in your initial presentation. Seems like you need to work on your German. |

I'd say since you're a girl.....go shopping! Hamburg is supposed to be the best, i didnt love it too much myself though...
and erm since u dont seem to have the best german speak english, a lot of germans love to practice their english on you so... |
