What sort of accordions do you normally find in Germany?

Of course in today's Western cultures you'll find a whole variety of instruments from all over the world. In any cause however, I was curious;

Which sorts of accordions are most often found in Germany (i.e. keyboard or button, etc.)?

You can find both versions but the ones with keyboard are a bit more common.

This is just my gut feeling but I would have said that keyboard accordions are the most common - as far as accordions and common go together in Germany. They are mainly associated with folk music and the latter is not hugely popular with the majority of the youngsters so I wouldn't expect it to be an instrument a lot of kids would die to start playing.

Both, but I think the smaller one with buttons is more popular amongst Romanian gypsies making a noise at train stations;)
