its an awesome place
the cheapest store is MULLER it has 2dots on its U.
its a chain store so is easy to find.Instead of souveniers by bathing n shower gels frm there which will cost u about 50 cents- 1euro
for large quantities. The cosmetics are very cheap so u can take them for all ur relatives too.
for clothes there are many shops the starting range is about 20-25 euros so u can take clothes accordingly
if u are indian plz do not convert the euros in INR. if u do this u will not b able to buy nething ther is also one more shop for chocolates- REWE the cheapest!!!
nd COOP is also a chaep store
nd since im not sportie kinds so i don know about football merchandise
but DON MISS the BMW and MERCEDEZE mueseums
the are tooooo awesome
but both of them are poles apart so try 2 visit atleast 1
u can also buy car models and bmw shirts frm BMW mueseum |

I used to live in München. I'd too suggest you go to Marienplatz and just walk around there. There are so many places to shop right there. (H&M is right there also) Also, about a 5 minutes walk away is the Hofbräuhaus which is a very famous beer house and very fun to go to. (Try the Dampfnudel with Vanilla sauce) Delicious.
Also go check out the Englischer Garten which is a huge park in the center of town. (Close to Marienplatz) In the center is a huge chinese bagoda with a beer garden. Very fun. (If you see my friend Eloy there please tell him I said hello. You can't miss him. He's mid 40's, long dark hair and very handsome and dresses like an native american indian :-) ) Also head (I believe it's south) towards that long road heading away from Marienplatz and go see Schwabing. It's an upscale part of Munich and also very fun.
And for educational purposes you should go see Dachau in the northern part of the city. (A former concentration camp) Very eye opening!
I really hope you have a great time! Wish I could go with you!
PS. Don't forget to try these delicious food items:
Leberkäs (sounds gross, doesn't look that great, but tastes awesome!)
Bratwurst (they're so different from here)
Schweinebraten mit Klöß
Schweinshaxn mit Klöß
Sauerbraten mit Klöß
Everything pretty much comes with Klöß (They're those german potato balls- yum!)
Sorry, don't know about the soccer stuff. But it's pretty much eveywhere. They're really into it. |
