Sunshine

In November i would take a good winter jacket under it a pullover or a shirt and a pullover it will be cold especially when the wind come along,it could be under the day when the sun comes out that you can take that jacket off and run around with just a pullover but early in the morning or later afternoon when that sun goes it will be cold.
it depends too where in Germany you go...u go up north there is a lot of wind you dealing with so you might need a hat too.
One more thing depending where you coming from ,you come from fl,TX etc.it feels a lot colder to you then to other people.
Came from SC about mid of November and from Fl beginning of Dec both times with my winter jacket ,both times i thought i would die of frostbites LOL !!!!
if you come from somewhere where its about the same Temperature its not bad at all. |

a warm jacket and warn shoes. it can be pretty cold here in Germany. a scarf and gloves are important. but you don´t go to the Antarctic, if you haven´t carry enough clothes with you you could buy some... ;) |

Layers is the key. You never know how it is. |

ARRGH!!!

Warm but not to warm. Take a warm coat and some pullovers, but also t-shirts. Thanx to global warming our winters really start in January, November can still be surprisingly warm... |

Germany in November is really cold and miserable. Something tells me you are writing from southern climes - so I'll spell it out for you: You will be comfortable if you bring a pair of sneakers (surprisingly warm, aren't they, and good to walk in), blue-jeans, even if you are a female - sorry, couldn't find out from your email name - a sweat shirt or even just a T-Shirt, and a padded jacket. You may also want to bring something for your head, like a woollen hat or something. November in Germany is cold and drizzly, usually about 5 degrees Celsius, and can be windy and wet. |

I presume you meant "what type of clothing?" It doesn't get too much colder in Germany at that time of year, than some of the northern states in the US. I suggest some silk turtlenecks, and wool or wool / cotton mix sweaters to layer on top of the silk. Silk and wool are great protectors from the cold, and if it turns out to be not as cold as you may anticipate, the silk turtlenecks would be very comfortable under a jacket. |
