I lived there. I always took visitors to the Fernsehturm (t.v. tower). You get a great view of the city. It is also near many other good places of attraction. Try to go during the day and when it's sunny out. Everyone I ever took there was highly impressed.
Other great things to do/see:
Walk the Kurfurstendamm
Walk Friedrichstrasse
Go to Potsdamer Platz
Museum Island
Walk Unter den Linden
Berlin is a city you have to get out and walk in. It is beautiful and just fun to hop around from place to place. Get a pass for the public transportation (Tageskarte) and you can go anywhere.
Be sure and take a raincoat/umbrella as it can rain often there.

Brandenburger Tor, Street 17. Juni, where Obama had a speech at the Siegessauele. There is great museums, restaurants, the ZOO I love it. Nice shopping centers very famous kaufhaus KADEWE. I was in Berlin four times and can't get enough from the nice city. Have fun. |
