You can do anything there that a german-speaker could do. There are opera halls, open air theaters, churches, museums, cafes, etc.
Most people in Germany speak English very well.

basically everything there is to do for everyone else.
English is widely understood and spoken in Germany, so you really shouldn't have any problems.

And if you do tourist attractions, there are probably English tours, English speaking guides. This is common in bigger European cities.
