Where is the best Fasching parade in Germany?

In Baden-Wuerttemburg?

The best/biggest parades are, in this order:

Cologne (Köln, Northrhine Westfalia)
Mainz (Hessen)
Düsseldorf (Northr. W.)

In Baden Wuerttemberg there are two forms of carnival co-existing. In the northern part there is the typical rhineland-carnival (best parades in Karlsruhe and Mannheim/Ludwigsburg), in the southern part there is a more ancient, old alemannic form of fasching (called fasnet, best parade in Wolfach, some pics & german article: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfacher_Fasnet)

Altstadtweib
Go and see the best "Rosenmontagszug" in either Koeln (Cologne) or Duesseldorf!!!

We have here in Baden Württemberg a different kind of Fasching like in Cologne and Mainz, sure in Stuttgart is like be the same but if u go to Rottweil in the Black forest there is a typical of Fasching they have old Witchmaskes made from wood and given from generation to generation and only people who are borned in Rottweil and the generation before too can have a mask.

Koln has the best parade, (although I think thats technically Rheinland Pfalz) I dont know about Baden Wurttemburg perhaps Stuttgart or Mannheim/Ludwigshafen.

Lady Jasmin
In Mainz

The best ones is in Nordrhein Westfalen (Cologne), Rheinland Pfalz (Mainz).
Stuttgart is a city in Baden Wuerttemberg, there is also fasching parades too.

Steve A
I'd say Mainz, which is in Rheinland Pfalz, or Koeln, which is in Nordrhein-Westphallen
