I'm in Munich, and I've got the weekend off. Where can I go? I want to leave Saturday morning and return Sunday night, and I can't afford to spend more than 200 euro on travel - and I don't want a train ride more than 6 hours. Any recommendations? I've already been to Kornigze and on the castle tour. Additional Details I went window shopping last weekend - and I don't know anybody in Germany.

Have you made it to Neuschwanstein? (sp?) How about Salzburg or Vienna?
Cath
You could go to Neuschwanstein. I'm not sure how expensive it is, I had the ability to go with a group and the cost would be 25 euro with a group discount, only for access.
Also I'm sure there are parts of the city you haven't seen. Maybe make a picnic lunch and head to the English Garden? It's a bit cold, but it might be fun.
Alternatively, you could go to a disco or a club/bar and meet someone, make plans for next week so that you will have something to do!

Hamburg is a great city - cheap tickets with Lufthansa and Germanwings: great sights, shopping, restaurants, art .. I love it in Hamburg!

I would go site seeing and see everything and maybe go eat out somewhere that looks good to me. I'm German and I have never been there but one day plan on going because I have family that have been there and they say it is beautiful.
Good Luck!!!!!!!1
