its a shame that it probably would be ranked pretty low because it really has some great places to visit!

i lived in Greifswald for a year - studying at the uni and the scenary up north is lovely - espec Ruegen and surrounding areas. I love Hamburg as a city too and Berlin has so much culture. I havent been down south much - have been to Munich but not to the forests. would like to go tho!

to be honest, id rather go to Germany than Spain - and its handy coz i speak the lingo and i love the Streuselschneckes - really miss those cakes!! lol!

Our Man In Bananas
Let's see now...

1) Italy!
2) UK, France & Spain for culture, and history are about equal
3) Greece
4) Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary
5) Croatia, Romania, and Bulgaria, and Portugal
6) Luxembourg, Latvia, Estonia, and the Lithuania
7) Belgium & The Netherlands
8) all the others...like Slovakia etc

so about 4th behind Greece - but it depends on what you like to see really doesn't it?

Thanks for asking

Philip
