Which area of Germany has the most open minded , relaxed, intellectual, friendly types? |
i think , in my experience it is the area of northwest Germany?
how do they compare , in your opinion to the Prussians, Bavarians, and other areas?
i think the other areas have more aggresive, assertive types of Germans?
are these more Slavic or how are they differant genetically?
are the ones in northwest Germany more related to the English?
how about the Bavarians?
please explain differances. Additional Details how about the Dutch?

All over Germany and most countries worldwide it's up to you how people react. It depends on the way you approach people as a foreigner, as much you respect their culture and their society.
I lived in Germany and never had any problems. Neither in the north nor in Bavaria. Dutch people are very open minded. Swiss people might be a bit more reserved, but then again, it depends mostly on the foreigner in the host country how he/she is treated. (of course exemptions exists, but that's worldwide).
"related to English": in Germany students learn English as a second language first. Sometimes in Kinder garden already. But - many people have a language barrier what may be taking wrong by the foreigner talking to Germans. |

i lived in Germany for a while Berlin for three years i had no problems with most of the Germans i came across. and i stayed in Stuttgart for six months very warm and loving people if they like you there so friendly if they dislike you they have nothing to do with you.I also lived in Hanover for three years and have so many friends there and they all seem as friendly as the Germans down south.Hanover and Berlin have very flat country side where as Stuttgart is beautiful with its alpine scenery |

the north west of germany is more related to the English. The old slang of the peoples from north west germany have a lot same words like the english language. Most people say the north germans are cold, don´t talk to much and need some time to be warm. But when they will be warm they are friendly most time. |
