Which is better to visit Bremen or Hannover Germany?

Bremen is more interesting I think.
And more beautiful.

It is a really old city and therefore there are a lot of historic sights to be seen in or very near to the town's centre, for example the cathedral, the town hall, the statue of the Town Musicians (a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster), the Roland (the town's landmark), the Schnoor (district dating back to the Middle Ages), a lot of churches, bridges, an old windmill... . Furthermore one could visit the Beck's brewery, there are guided tours and at the end if you're over 18 you can drink a whole lot of beer.

The night life in Bremen is rather developed as well, the main places to go would be the "Schlachte" which is located near the river Weser, there are a lot of pubs and restaurants and in summer there are beer gardens. Then there is the so called "Viertel" with bars, restaurants and a few clubs, especially the street "Auf den HÃ¶fen" is always worth a visit. Mind you, the Viertel might cater to more alternative means regarding tastes in music... . If you like more mainstream entertainment, it would be better to visit the "Discomeile" near the main train station. However, this Disco Mile has featured as location for a lot of violent fights etc. in the past.

Well they are hardly quite as big since the citizen numbers differ roundabout 20 000 ( has Bremen more ). But I wonder what love426 is telling. There is no North Sea mouth in Bremen. If so it would be the Wesermouth and it is not in Bremen it is in Bremerhaven. Anyways both towns are boring and not worth to visit.

Both are nice, but Bremen is probably more things to see.
It is larger and is at the mouth of the north sea, so there are nice beaches of course. And the there is the Weser river. It is the second largest city in north germany. Also, has the "freimarket" free market event. the international Goethe-institut is there as well. Many great universities ther. And the football team Werder-bremen of course, you could go watch one of there games, possibly. There is also a mercedes-benz factory there. There are so many things to see everywhere in Germany, it is probably the most beautiful country there is.

Bremen is larger and it is prettier than Hannover. Hannover is grey, not much to see. Bremen is on a river, has a very nice historic area with old houses and stuff and it has also the smallest street in Germany.
