Dresden is in the state of Saxony. In german they call it Sachsen. The town has so much to offer one day is almost not enough. We were there a week ago for 4 days and could not see it all. We very much enjoyed the Zwinger and a boat trip down the Elbe. Be sure to go to www.dreden.com
