Many parts of East Germany are not safe for foreigen and Jewish visitors. I have been attacked in Berlin. Sad. The mayor of Berlin has admitted that many parts of his city are no go areas for Blacks, Jews .... they do not care in Berlin.
I would rather travel to "safe" and fun places like Hamburg, Munich, Luebeck, Lueneburg, Stade, Cologne, Freiburg .... there is so much to see in Western Germany. |

they are not it's propaganda of some stupid newspapers, people and western politicians from the right wing.
some small villages in eastern germany have a problem with some stupid neo-fashists but to those places you would not travel anyway.
the citys and major places for tourist are safe as can be. |

I have never before read such a nonsens like from ShlomoNYC and Some Bozo.
The major of Berlin has never said that, eastern Germany has the same problems as western germany and its simply not true if they say that we have a problem with neo-nazis or fashists.
I can count up many country who have the same problems as germany with the same kind of people, called idiots.
There is no place in Berlin where you are unsafe, believe me I'm from Berlin. We don't have a rasism problem in our city.
And specially for ShlomoNYC: every year more and more jewish tourist come to Berlin the growth is more than 17% and a lot of jewish come back to Berlin to live here (growth was 7.3% last year).
Germany is one of the savest country for traveling/tourists in the whole world. |
