No, because it would be way too expensive. There will be a building at the same spot, but it will be built just like any other modern building, though the facade (though I'm not sure all the outside walls) will be recreated. |

Stuff happens in war. No, the palace won't be completely restored...it'd be a very expensive project and the Berliners I lived amongst for two years don't think it's a necessary expenditure. But maybe they feel differently outside Steglitz... |

5 Thumbs down for tell in the truth and answering the Question Correctly i cannot help telling the truth I am a Christian if you read the link you see the truth
sorry i am right again answer to Question YES THE GERMAN GOVERNMENT DOES INTEND TO REBUILD KAISER PALACE FACT END OF ARGUMENT
edit as for suing the Russians was it the Russians or the East German government and has the Russians ever repaid any one except with Violence for Anything through out History the polish Calvary was used by the Russians then the Russians re payed the by trying to destroy them the biggest poke in the Eye the German people can do to the Russians for destroying History is to Rebuild it that is why a made a 100 euro donation
Germany's parliamentary budget committee voted late on Wednesday November 09, 2007 to cap the amount to be spent on the project at €552 million ($880 million), according to a statement from the Bundestag, the lower house of Parliament.
How can i get a thumbs down for telling the truth yes the German government does intend o rebuild the Kaiser Palace read the Link End of Argument it is Their country i think they should Know
and i was there in September 2007 and saw the Plans and the dismantling of poisoned parliament were YOU
Rebuilding the Berlin palace has already been backed by Germany's political elite from Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder through to the conservative opposition and leaders of the former East German communist party.
Yes that is the plan but first they must remove Palace of the Republic which housed East Germany's rubber-stamp parliament along with 13 cafes and restaurants and occupies a portion of the plot when the original palace once stood.
Built in 1976, the steel and glass building became known as the poisoned parliament - partly as a result of the East German state's questionable democratic record. But also because after it was closed in 1990, the building was found to be contaminated with asbestos.
once this Eyesore is removed the restoration of the Kaiser Palace will begin and i am looking forward to seeing it the Restored Charlottenburg Palace is Magnificent
