Working in bamberg/schweinfurt and regensburg?
how far is regensburg from bamberg and/or schweinfurt? would it be better to travel by train or by car? does any one know how far leipzig is from bamberg?
Neither Bamberg nor Schweinfurt are far from Regensburg. I'd recommend the train in general, but: Leipzig is in another "Bundesland" (federal state) than Regensburg, it's in Saxonia (Sachsen), whereas all the other cities you mentioned are in Bavaria. It doesn't make a big difference, however, as to distance. There are trains running. But as these all are relatively short distances, I would prefer to use the car. It's easier, and you're more independent.

Bamberg, Schweinfurt and Regensburg are in state Bavaria. Leipzig is at the east side from Germany.
Check the Yahoo Map and see the distance.
