Would a typical german laugh with a foreigner whose deutsch ist zu schlect? |
hahaha i'm not just sure if I had said what I really wanna say! :p
got a few units of german in college, and i think it wasnt enough to equip me with a decent conversational german. The language is so difficult, and the rules for grammatical construction of sentences, simply befuddle me :p
I've met a number of germans in person, but most often than not, i shied away from the idea on speaking the language with them, just a little worried that they would laugh at 'my deutsch' :p |

I know that the folks in Bavaria are very friendly. In germany, the Germans are not like the French. The French can be very rude and don't like speaking to foreigners who don't know the language well. |

No of course not, for the most germans are glad to get help, when they are outside DE but even in DE it is difficult. For me the dialect in Cologne is hard to understand, and I am always glad, if I find someone who translates.
