NORTH:
a. Shimla- Manali- Dharmsala sector. As Shimla is a oft visited place, try Dharmsala- Kangra, Palampur.

b. Almora- Nainital- Jim Corbett in Uttara Khand, is a good sector too.

c. For some royal treatment, try the Palace on Wheels for a tour of Rajasthan. It can be good for honeymoon too. ;)

NORTHEAST:
a. Darjeeling- Kalimpong- Gangtok. This sector is a very famous one. I suggest you spend more time in Gangtok.

b. Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is my personal fav. Well, not sure if it fits the bill of a "honeymoon" spot but the scenic beauty, the lower green Himalayas, the largest Buddhist monastry, the all round Buddhist influence could indeed be very peaceful and a good experience.
