They also try to develop both internal and international tourism in this region, so they use this "brand" to create interest. Kerala State, the southern most tip of India, is popularly called God's own Country by the department of tourism for the purpose of tourism promotion. The state is about 700kms in length and majority of this is sea shore. The famous Kovalam beach is near close to Thiruvanathapuram, the capital of this state. The state has beautiful Backwaters and lakes. The state also boasts of very good hill resorts like Munnar in Idukki district and Wythiri in Wayanad district. It has beautiful tea and coffee plantations and world famous wild life sanctuaries like Periyar. The state also boasts of three large airports with international flight operations. No wonder the state is called GODS OWN COUNTRY. |

Kerala,the south-east tip of india is called: The god's own Country , by the board of tourism of the state, perhaps to attract business.
To find if there's any truth in it, just get down there, and feel for real her sea-licked, mountain criss crossed land scape........................
or her domesticated elephants,beautiful backwaters boat races..............the river country......... where land seems a distant dream sometimes......lol need more..............

Its the southern state of India. Its full of green vegetation with plenty of coconut trees and a long coastline along the arabian sea. Gods own country is a brand name given by the tourist department.
Its accessable by air train and road. Major airports are trivandrum, kochi and calicut. Officially its a 100% literate state, but is economically backward. Tourism is the main industry here with lot of ayurvedic centres for tourists |

I would call the whole of India GOD's OWN COUNTRY as this is the birth place of Lord Vishnu, the hindu sustainer, which the muslims are cunningly trying to take over.
I wonder when people will get some sense in their heads.
The pakis just made a comment that they are thinking of nuking gujarat, a state in India.
I dont know what the muslims have against India but it is an atrocity that india has to tolerate. I dont understand how one country which is not even a legal entity in itself, can claim land from another by threatening it whilst the world watches.
It is a shame that there are the huge powers, the United Nations and United States, who let one country illegally threaten another.
Or is the whole world making fun of a violent situation?
