INDIA is an ancient country with multi culture, languages and religion.I can not list it.I am remember a story that five blind men what to know How elephant look like. A elephant was brought and all the five touched the elephant where they can and narrated their views. One man touched elephant's tail and told elephant is just like snake. One man touched the
stomach and told that elephant is like wall. If I tell about INDIA it is just like blind man's view only.Visit INDIA you will enjoy it.

If you plan to visit India for One Year, that won't be enough. In three months you can definitely see all the hot tourist spots.

If I start from North. Go to Kashmir. Dal Lake and Arru Valley.

Travelling little south, we have Delhi. The Capital of India. Visit White Lotus, Red Fort and Taj Mahal in this area.

Travelling little south east from Delhi we have the state of Rajasthan. Extreamly Crowded. State is full of Palaces.

At the border of Gujarat state and Maharashtra we have a place called Saputara. It is very well known hill station of India.

Mahabaleshware is good place too with sky high mountains and those monsoon greenery. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sohampreksha/498564113/

South India is I say, full of coconuts and elephants...lol..

West India has lot to do with ART. There all sorts of temples and all those art work done by kings for their lovely queens.

Make sure you hire a Good tourist guide from well known Travel Agency. (Trick- When you get off the airport, ask Airport officials for the Local Travel agent number so they can get you good guide.

Traveling for 3 months well that's great i had been for only a month and could not spend enough time few places , from north to south as very well all said there are different places to visit Kashmir in the north , if you are looking for tropical weather better go down to Rajasthan , beaches Goa , Chandigarh beautiful city , Hyderabad in south , don't miss kanyakumari and kerala , and a ayurvedic relaxation plan i had made all the my arrangements through a destination management team they did everything on line for me , especially kerala as they are based there and it was great , they have many homesaty arrangements which would be reasonable for longer stay i guess. i am not sure they have Representative in Canada but many places they do have , here in UK they do have a person and everything was easy for me . if you would like to have a look you can and post a enq if feel so its saromaholidays

oh i love india. it depends on what kind of india you want to visit...if you looking for the real india the natural original one then i would recomend visiting PUNJAB india. thats where it all is-the people are so kind, the sites are beautiful, the nature is just relaxing and its very enjoyable. i would recomend going with someone else from india punjab already so its easier for you and more enjoayable.and i think if you wana go you should go either in aug-sept-oct or jan-feb-mar...the summer is wayyyyy too hott and the winter is pretty cold.
