People are not just proud about the Taj Mahal but also about all the other beautiful monument that are there in the city.
Agra has been neglected for long. Its bewildering to understand that the city which has the highest number of foreign tourist doesnot has a decent domestic Airport, leave alone a International Airport.
I believe that you have a very good idea and students should be encouraged to take this up. May be by seeing them the state government would feel embarrassed and finally do something instead of giving lip service only. Valentine Day would be a perfect day to kick start this.
Thou i m from UP I believe Raj Thakery is right, in the sense that why should Maharashtra provide for employment of other state. Taj is a wonderful example of how Politicians in UP fail to utilise wonderful resources with so much of potential because it wont do any good to their vote bank. Its a very worrying situation to say the least. |

Yeah I agree. I've been to many cities in India and I think that the people of Agra can really do something about making the rest of Agra a bit more attractive. If it wasnt for the Taj I would've never gone back to Agra.
Get your communitee to participate and create jobs! Keep Agra clean! please! |

Mayawati is about to sell taj Mahal to the highest bidder. Clean city is NOT her concern. |

Agrans are not proud of their heritage at all. It is India's misfortune that the Taj Mahal is in Agra and not in Delhi!
Agra is one of the filthiest cities in India, and the touts who fleece the tourists are notorious across the globe. |

Really a good idea but every programme has to be dealt with either persuasion or by firm hands by deputing the hardcore task force.Since our administrators are not serious to tackle the civic problems except passing the orders in office and for their implementation at ground no mechanism exists. In my opinion if we have to start movement for cleanest city of Agra we have to come out by preparing a master plan for tackling the problems instead some adhoc decisions. |

That is a very good idea, the key to carry it out effectively is to educate the masses with respect, dignity, humility and love, news papers, schools, colleges, universities, religious places of gathering are good places to deliver the message, an incentive program is good also and recognition news in the news papers etc., |

yes of course, I feel that there r nor that educated people there, not only educated but they are not that particular about the cleanliness.
And the govt. take steps otherwise to make it pure and clean. And it should educate through media like newspapers, TV channels, magazines, schools, colleges and make awareness about the cleanliness who reside there.
And also educate them and make them to know that CLEANLINESS is next to GODLINESS. Then only they take care of the Symbol of Love "TajMaha" and also about the city "Agra." Then we can attain Clean Agra and Pure Love of TajMahal. |
