All weddings are fun. In India weddings are big elaborate family affairs. I cannot speak about muslim weddings, never been to one. You'll relish the food though.

im muslim and iranian and the weddings i go to are SOOO much fun!
the morning service is very elegant and they have this tradition that you put specific things on a table that symbolize health, wealth, happiness, etc
THEN, the afternoon party is SOOO MUCH FUNN!!!!!! we dance until 1:00 a.m. (the ones ive been to)
in bend it like beckham they have an indian wedding i think
im not sure about indian, i just know iranian ;)

Muslims i dont know much about at all except i suggst you get to know one pretty well before you marry one
Indian weedings are awesome! lost of traditions and dancing and just plain fn!

Yes, once I went to one and it was strict for the first hours. But afterwords, it w as crazy fun!

yes, muslims wedding are also very nice, maybe not as open as hindu marriages but still its totally diffrent from what you find out of india, its colorful and worth to try, they have special costums for the bride and groom, special songs, dance and cuisines. and moreover indians are so kind to foreigners and their hospitality is amazing.. out of world! dont forget to try Laddo (rounded wedding sweet) which is so yummy!

Yes. I went to one last year and it was a feast with the ceremony at the beginning and photos at the end. The marriage ceremony is short and sweet, no messing around, and everyone dresses very well. You will enjoy it.

Indian weddings can last for a week or longer with many gatherings scattered throughout. The community is often involved in bringing couples together, sanctioning the union, and supporting newlyweds once they have married. With all this involvement (and commitment) from the community, there is a lot to reward the community for and a lot to celebrate.

There will be a lot to see and do!

hell yeah ...itz gonna b a blast for u..am sure u will love it dere trust me..itz kinda diff from here though ...well i been to soo many paki weddings in pk n dere r alwayz fun..it wuld b beta if its ur cuz or relative's wedding dis way u wuld get to enjoy even more...n make sure u wear the nicest clothes ova dere =)
