depending on your size..and if you lift weights...why not? I moved furniture all my life ..and most of the time alone. Hubby was at work or said he needed help....

I carried my son up and down stairs in his wheelchair at times when I needed to and it had to be at LEAST that much weight.

You can do what you need to do....I know many strong women and girls. My niece is 8 and she carries her brother who is 10 piggy back and Caleb has to weigh 105 at least. That is a lot for a little girl. Well she is taller and stronger for her age...but when you have brothers you learn to defend yourself. :)))

I think women have always been stronger than they let on they were...it wasn't considered NICE or ladylike to be stronger than a guy and guys like to think they are helping out women....and they do at times...but there are times when I can open the danged jar when hubby can't and I don't ask for much help...I just prefer to do it myself instead of waiting around for him to come home from work or until he is free.

What are all these weird questions about girls picking up or carrying guys? Most women are not Olympic athletes/have no desire to carry or pick up men. I could not carry yourself around because I weigh less and probably am less muscular.

women should naturally have less muscle mass than men just due to their genetics, but nowadays more and more women are abusing performance enhancing drugs, which are absolutely horrible for you anyway, so don't think about doing them.
