India is the so much large country and has the lot off tourist spot in the all over country. So I would like suggest to you that you should go to India, really India is the great palace for vacation, I have recently returned from India trip.

Well your answers are telling the truth. Lots of good places and they have listed them. I'll add one. It is very special but not on the general tourist guide for western folk.
It's another very holy city-Vrindavan. Mathura. It is on holy Yamuna river and it is the place for worship of Krishna. There are more than 1000 temples of various sizes. It is especially popular with delhi tourists on Sundays but people actually come from all over the world to stayhere. Especially in October, November when big walking pilgramages go on.
I'll give you a website which is all about Indian (Vedic) spirituality and philosophy and about Krishna and Vrindavan. It tells the times of the pilgramages under 'events', Vrindavan is 4 hours by road from Delhi and 1 hour from Taj Mahal

India is a very very vast country and ur ques could be answered on various levels..Every region of the country has amazing places to visit and wonderful things to see..Its full of history,culture and color all over.Every state is famous for something unique.

i belong to the North so can best talk abt the region comprising the great Himalayas..the abode of ice
