Best shopping place, other than Mumbai/Bombay, would have to be Surat in Gujurat. You can get western and Indian fashions for so much less and it helps if you know how to bargain. And if hunger strikes during your shopping spree, there are many restaurants and stands that serve tasty dishes and snacks. |

You have asked the most difficult question. there are a lot of places in India to suit the choices of every tourist. If you like you can visit Munnar a hill station around 4 hours drive from Cochin International Airport and if you like to spend a couple of days in a house boat with star hotel facilities floating in the backwaters you may select Kumarakom which is 2 Hour journey from Cochin. As some body suggested Kovalam is the best beach in Kerala. it is only 30 minutes drive from trivandrum international airport. |

Gangtok and Pelling (Sikkim).A lot of people told me Darjeeling's really good but I think it's waay to crowded.You can see the third highest mountain in the world(Kanchenjunga) and the Himalayas from Pelling.
