chennai was formerly known as madras and it was a small fishing village. now it is an IT hotspot. the city has 3 amusement parks and 3 water parks. they are :
MGM dizee world on ECR (east coast road)
kishkinta and queensland.

its also famous for VGP and places to hang out. its famous for its food. and the unique blend of all cultures.
chennai is famous for housing many criminals, the central jail.
its railway station and also the outskirts are very beautiful towards the southern side.
