Try someplace close, like coorg's Orange County is absolutely beautiful.

Also, Mysore and Ooty are close.

Salem's also a neat place.

GoodLuck and happy holidays!

Other could be alleppey boat houses where you will find back waters of green Kerala.
If you are looking for pristine beaches with few people only pure peace n french wine taste visit Pondicherry
Else if you are looking for absolutely refreshing hills lots of tea gardens n finest toy train journey on Niligirs in south coonoor 26 km from Ooty is beautiful option.
While is coffee is something you like munnar with indias finest coffee gardens in the hills in Kerala could be deadly :).
