Can i drive a bike from another state through maharashtra ?
because i heard that u can only drice MH numbered bikes in mh.
i am in goa , planning to ride to manali ( himalyas ) Additional Details bro. i will not be staying in maharashtra, i've just got to pass through the state. so u think cops can catch me ... as i would be loaded with stuff so they will know for sure that i am not living here.

Yes definitely you can drive a bike from another state through maharashtra . The rules apply only ifyou are residing and then still have not registered the vehicle as many people do such things and when the vehicle is not registered it becomes very difficult to trace it . If you ar ecaught by some local cop i guess the best way is to tell him that you are on an expedition and that you wil be soming back after a year so will need to just drive past Maharashtra and stuff like that. Put some petty cash in his hand and you are free bird.
