The best way to get updated schedules, fares and options is www.indianrail.gov.in. But for online booking you'll have to get a free registration on www.irctc.co.in, which is the official Indian railways website.
The best train from Bangalore to Mumbai though is Udyan Exp. leaves Bangalore at 8 PM and takes exactly 24 Hours. Whereas from Mumbai leaves at 9 AM for 24 hours journey to Bangalore.
