You need to select ur theme from the following suggestions. Since u have asked for 'city' I would rstrict myself to cities only.
bombay-modern, big, good site-seeing,eurpean history, nat. park, shopping amenities, beach & all luxuries u can afford.
Kolkata- british ascent, hindu culture, good as base point for shanti-niketan, sundar ban etc..
Jaipur: great for rajputana history.
Chandigarh, Kochin, ahmedabad: very nice for a small vacation. decent lay-out & very clean
Delhi- generally good, british, Mughal and Indian history glimpses.
Hyderabad: paisa vasool even if u see only Salarjung museum |

Undoubtedly it Goa! Everyone loves it. Other great places include kashmir, kerala, rajasthan, agra, manali, simla, nainital, gangtok etc. Depends on whether you want to visit the hill stations, beaches or historical places or jungles. Its vast , diverse and is for experienced tourists who can accept and appreciate the variety, explore the diversity with an open mind and enjoy the occasional culture shocks! |

do you know that India is a big county and you are talking about a city not even a state. you should give some hint of your interest . if you would like to see Taj Mahal, you have to go for Agra, if you would like to temples of south India, you have to go for South India, there are so may cities like kanyakumari, Benglore etc..........
you may go for Mathura City of Lord Krishna.
you tell us some thing more in your question we will tell you. |

Depends on the individual, what you're looking for. Personally I don't like Indian cities but here's my opinion. There's alot of sight seeing to do in Dehli and shopping,Bombay-nobody likes it and it's real pricey, didn't like Bangalore-just one big smelly rip off but Varanessi is interesting by the ghats but the hassle is constant. Enjoy. |
