The Swaminarayan Akshardham Delhi complex is a Monument to World Peace, and is nicknamed â€œIndiaâ€™s Spiritual Theme Parkâ€. The temple complex was opened to the public on Nov 6th, 2005, and is claimed as one of the greatest Indian monuments ever constructed. It is one of the newest things to do in Delhi.The complex took about five years to complete, which is astonishing given its size and splendor not to mention how long it usually takes to get things done in India.

this is situated close to India Gate, near Nizammudin bridge, Noida Mor. opening hrs 9am-9pm (tue-sun). the temple is dedicated to lord swaminarayan. it'll take approx 1and 1/2 hr to view the temple and there are boat rides, audio shows and musical fountain (the last at 6:45 pm) for which you must keep 3 hrs in hand.electronics are not allowed inside-no camera or mobiles. entry free, boat ride is Rs.125 per adult.

IT IS BEAUTIFUL! inside and out and you should SO SEE IT!!! the AMAZING part of it is it is all by HAND and i was blown away and i am a teenager who lives in the US- i have not seen anything like it! YOU CAN CALL it a small amusement park because they have some activities, ALSO the FOOD IS REALLY GOOD!!! the one thing is that WALKING was a big problem you have to WALK ALL around in stead of cutting over but is very worth it!!!! When i mean inside and out is amazing I MEAN IT< EVEN INSIDE THE TEMPLE THERE ARE CARVINGS EVERYWHERE and gods, i think it is a MUST SEE if you have any question email me!
