I don't know better ask the bloody terrorists as they are the only person in the world who can name all the safest place on earth. Any place in the world which is free from terrorism is a safe place to travel. I think u should post this question on the sites of LeT or Al-Qaeeda or other terrorist organisations. This is my point of view u like it or not. |

friend...INDIA as a whole is very safe except part of kashmir...
since it is cold in north better head to PURI or GOA or kerala....best to take rest and enjoy the sun...avoid crowded market and malls cinema etc...take care .as a matter of fact we r safe everywhere or nowhere.
i went kashmir in 90s when it was bombs and guns...but i found the trip and people quite friendly to tourists and enjoyed it also charges were very low. but i won't suggst u to take undue risk. to enjoy mountains head to manali but be prepared for cold and snow and take heavy woolens and brandy and ask your family. |

It depends no your luck and your assumption of what being safe means:) . as far as u don't land up in places very well known for attacks.
I suggest u for Mahabaleshwar or Matheran or try Panchmarhi. Or visit south- Kerala, etc. These r quite safe |
