Lakshadweep is a good place for honymoon you can visit lakshadweep after monsoon season. The time to visit lakshadweepis between October-November. Tropical clothes throughout the year are sufficient. A waterproof coat during October-November will be useful. Following are the islands in lakshadweep.

Maldivies is also a very good Island for honeymoon.

Goa is a great place for honeymoon besides it is cheap if not visited in december and january.Kodaikanal,ooty,shimla are other cool places.Some of the beaches in goa like palolem beach provides excellent romantic environment for couples.I myself has been to goa a few months back,so, i highly suggest goa for your honeymoon.For more details about goa log onto http://visit-india2enjoy.blogspot.com

Maldives has many Islands in different price ranges. You should be able to contact a travel agent that can find you a great package deal. You'll probably have to fly to Sri Lanka and then to Mali. It is a great honeymoon destination!

It will be lot of work to find a cheap place in the Maldives. Better off looking around Goa, Ooty.
