It is also home to the the world's biggest Hindu temple and the most popular festival of India located in the Diwali region.

My country is India. It is called a South Asian country, but really it is the oldest and most civilised culture on Earth. Before the British came and stole everything and ruined our societies, that is. India gained independence from England in 1947, but now we are again under cultural attack from Coca-Cola, Churchianty and Satellite TV. The outlook is grim. Kama is out of control, so we say SOA, "Save Our Atma".

India's present-day capital is New Delhi. Five thousand years ago it was called Hastinapur, and was a great imperial capital. "Dil" means heart, and the world's largest democracy has its headquarters here.

India is the world's second most populous country, with a population of 1,027,000,000. Of course there are many major population centres, as well as vast natural resources including rivers and mountains. Modern consumerism is placing heavy pressures on our rivers and land, soon we will have to sincerely pray for God's help again, as we used to do before we were educated in materialism so that we would ape the British.

The world's biggest Hindu temple is in India. Diwali is one of our most popular Hindu festivals. Others include Ram Vijay, Sri Krsna Janmastami and Holi. All of these festivals are centred on God in His different incarnations. You might be surprised to know that God Himself has descended to this land, many, many times, to deliver the Godly people and annihilate the miscreants. Currently, however, there are so many rascal cheaters leading the people away from God. Must of us, however despise those charlatans. India is a Godly land, from the beginning.

There are 12 tourist states in India, and also the world's 7th wonder - the Taj Mahal. Many tourists come to India seeking knowledge of the soul. Why don't you visit too?
