uttaranchal has been famous for its natural beauty & various places like- Garhwal & kumaon himalayan mountain.Rishikesh& Haridwar is famous pilgrimage spot in india.Dehra dun,Mussoorie has some of the tourist spot.
thses state has four ancient temples mark the spiritual sources of the sacred rivers of Hinduism,the Yammuna(Yamunotri),the Ganges (Gangotri),the Mandakini(Kedernath),the Alaknanda (Badrinath).All have spectacular locations and see thousands of pilgrims every year during yatra season.
