Do muslims and hindus live in the same neighborhood in India?

We, Hindus and Muslims, not only live in same neighborhood but also eat from the same dish, share our lunches in offices, participate in each others happiness and sorrows, attend social ceremonies of each other, have differences like any siblings in the family, fight for our respective rights like two brothers in dispute, respect and honour each others' privileges as well.

I have seen hindus and muslims living in the same floor in appartment buildings.
I have many friends who are muslims and we do celebrate each other festivals together

Yeah they all live together here in india.They do not have any such preferences while choosing there friends.

i hate this kindaaa bias thing! im from delhi & would never mind if i befriends with a muslim. . . its not anybody's culture that decides their good or bad, its their deeds, individual & not racist.

and they r verry happy. i have muslim friends and i used to celebrate eid with them it is so much fun and all the other events and i m a hindu. i have to probs with it i love it!

now i dont live in INDIA so i miss them very much

Its like asking do blacks and whites live together,to a large extent they live seprately ,ghettoisation is a universal phenomenon

Of course they do... There are some problems, but for the majority, people are tolerant of other religions. Especially those that are affluent, Hindus and Muslims can mostly get along with no problems.

Oh yes they do... Afluent Muslims and Hindus seem to live together without problems. This is a very generalized statement. In larger cities though there seem to be more and more muslim settlements coming up...

Yes many Hindus have good Muslim friends and vice versa...

Yes. They do. I am a muslim and i live in a hindu neighbourhood. all my friends since childhood are hindus and we r very good friends.

Yes we do...
I am a christian my wet mother was a Hindu and my teacher was a Muslim. I worked among Sikhs. Now living among Hindus and running my firm in which 40% workers are Muslim girls and the rest Hindus no Christians at all.
Who bother about the religion after all we are all INDIANS and all INDIANS are our BROTHERS & SISTERS.
