Our India is very beautiful and each and every part/bit of land of my country is full of natural beauty, full of culture, heritage, colours and so much so that even I do not have words to explain it. We have Rivers, Mountains, Sea, Ocean, Lakes, Deserts, Cold deserts, Hills Vally's Rain forest, Vally of Flowers, Highest Motor ablee Road in the World.......etc....etc..we have TAJ MAHAL......you name it,and we have it. Our India is very rich in culture.
I AM INDIAN....... This one reason is enough to feel PROUD of being an Indian.
If you still want other reasons...... you have to be a good reader....coz... I can write a whole encyclopedia for feeling proud for being an Indian.
I am surprised on you for, you are asking reason, but from your name, it seems that you are too Indian, still you want reason, WELL THEN this is for you.......as we Indians do not think like this way, we do not compare anybody with anyone, we only do our job with full devotion.

Yes I love India, first question answered. Particular reason - anyone born in Indian soil will only understand what the bondage is between Mother India and a newborn and then to their Mother. Why would you want to compare with USA, but still just to answer your question, India had Gandhiji and America had Abraham Lincoln. The developement of both the countries evolved its shape from that era but USA progressed and India got delayed. India is evolving but at the same time it is supporting USA to sustain by providing political manpower and professional manpower. Do u need more explanation reg comparison. I am sure u r going to get more answers.

I had a love-hate feeling about India when I was there, but I find myself missing it. It had a rich culture and unique experiences. I met some great people. But I also met bad people, and it was dirty.
There are too many differences to list them all. A big one is the presence of religion there, people dress different and have different names based on their religion, it is displayed in the taxis, temples are everywhere. The gap between rich and poor is also very big. Food is different. Language is different. Music and movies are different. They play different sports. It is also a much much older country, with a much longer history and much older buildings. It's a more diverse country, someone from the south can be a complete foreigner in the north. |

I LOVE MY INDIA...
because :
1. it is only country in world having largest no. of religions , languages ,cultures ...
2. biggest democracy in world...
3. most religions like Buddhism, Sikh etc born here ...It also gave shelter to parsies and many other religions too...
4. only country in world who gives allowance for MUSLIM HAZ...can you imagine same about USA or even PAK..
5.most of scientists(even in NASA) ,engineers and doctors which are backbone of USA are from India...
I can even write a book about the GREAT INDIA...
BUT I HATE INDIAN GOVERNMENT...WE ARE RUINED in spite of great indian culture...there is a few things to proud about...
Most countries like America and England made great progress in last 400 years(most due to india)..
and we are being f@#ked since 1600 A.D...
