The Chennai auto drivers are not as disciplined as you have described. They do not use meters and do not hesitate to demand heavy fares even for short distances . Their counterparts in Bangalore are much better.

hey you are right my friend, i had a similar experience, many times, i think people in Chennai have more integrity than the rickshaw drivers in mumbai.. i hate mumbai now.. 3 cheers to Chennai..
