If it's a short vacation I stay at Home.
If it's a long vacation I definitely see my family and plan picnic or travel.

Vacation is so precious !
We love to go out to hills or sea but now a days do not get opportunity. When I am free kids are busy in study. When they are free I am occupied in my profession. When all are free money is utilized for some emergency. Somehow not able to take holiday since last 2 years.

To keep one's sanity and get away from the day to day mundane tasks, i think a vacation is a must. Whenever we get a chance, i and my family take a break and travel. It invigorates our minds and opens doors to so many new things. People, places, cultures, nature.....
This year we plan to take a trip to Yellow Stone National Park in Wyoming, US. We will spend 4 days and nights camping out amongst beautiful mountains and wildlife.

We definitely try to get away at least once a year for at least a week, and a few "long weekends" throughout the year. My hubby works a lot of OT, and if he isn't working, somebody in the family always seems to have something they want us to do for them, so we HAVE to leave the state if we are truly expecting to get any peace! (And if he doesn't leave his cell phone off, the stress still follows us sometimes!)
We like to cruise, go to WDW, or maybe just go to a hotel for a weekend and go to flea markets or something.... |
