You are not entitled to any time of school for holidays, but in certain circumstances your head teacher will authorise the permission for you to have a ten day family holiday, these include parents holidays in their employment, and other cases where you may be restricted as to certain times of year when you can travel. |

10 school days if agreed in advance with the Headteacher. If they say no and you go anyway, they will mark you absent and can report you for truanting. If you are in year 10 or 11, it's highly unlikely you will be granted permission. |

Some Bradford schools give 10 days but only on Headmasters yes/no and a permission slip, local Grammar will give time off if in relation to career you want to do when you leave |

Most schools only authorise 10 days, but they do make exceptions if you want to go for longer. It completely depends on the school's policy |

In the UK you are not allowed any time off school unless you are ill or in hospital. Why not book a holiday during the school summer holiday when you have 6 weeks off school?
But some schools will let you if you are going back to your home country, depending on what part of the counrty you are in, here in Somerset they do not allow you to have time off.
I would say ask you school head. |

Not being funny or anything, but as you are a school goer, aren't you best placed to find this out yourself, from the school? |
