In India we use the same currency(Indian Rupee) in all the states.Get your currency converted to Indian Rupee at the airport. Ask for some lose change(Rs. 100's,50's,10's bank note when you exchange).

You can take the Airport KSRTC bus(state owned bus service) to Bangalore railway station(the last stop).The fair is Rs. 120 and it takes 1-1.15 hrs to the Railway station.Ask any one at the airport,they can show you the bus stop at the airport.

There are 2 main terminal in Bangalore.They are Bangalore City Junction and Yesvantpur Junction.

If you wanna go Nepal by road, Gorakhpur is the nearest station bordering Nepal. You can reach Gorakhpur from Delhi.There are few trains from Bangalore also.Search here

I strongly suggest you to buy a 3AC ticket.If you are really tight on budget,you may buy a 2nd Sleeper ticket at your own risk.You have to pay extra attention to your belongings all the time, if you buy the 2nd Sleeper one.

I am not sure where can you find free food in Bangalore( may be in ISKCON temple).But,you can get some food for as cheap as Rs. 20 at most of the restaurants(Sukhsagar is one of such restaurant chain which provide cheap food).

You can use the same currency throughout India.

As for your extra tight budget, use 2nd class sleeper while on train but be extra cautious with your belongings.

Free foods? Some Aashrams and Gurudwaras do provide free food, but the question is will you be able to locate them in time?
