Hey in Rohtang Pass I want to see snowfall(like every where it should be ICE)so which is the best month?
Pls suggest me for the above query as I want to see ICE everywhere???
Snow will be present all around the year.However to reach Rohtang the path should be clear ,so the season recommended is April-June.

Rohtang pass has snow the year round but the approach may inhibit you from reaching there many times. It is about 30 kms from Manali on Manali-Leh high way. On the way, there is a small village Marhi. From Marhi to Rohtang you are sure to find snow and the road is almost sure to be easy in May-June.
The place is so nice, even a kid of 3 yrs age can enjoy. You will have snow just at the end of road. The snow ground has good land scape and is broad enough for walking, skiing, scootering, pony/yaak riding, etc.. The gentle slope will make you and ur kids to slide again and again. You will get sizzling hot junk food over there. Just keep ur purse loose b coz every thing(even sliding) costs.
Other than that, Pahalgam in J&K offers snow in summer.
In winter you reach snow at the mercy of weather in J&K & himachal pradesh.
Manali also has a skiing arena of international standard (solang) for winter about 15kms away. You can try right now if can't wait till summer.

Second half of May to first half of June would be best period. If you go prior to that, the road beyond Marhi (26 kms from Manali ) will be closed. Even in end May, if there is heavy snow fall, you may not be able to go up to Rohtang. Keep a couple of days spare.

In Rohtang,snow will be present all around the year but if you want to see snow everywhere,then I suggest you December and January.These are the best months to see snow.
