Hi i would like to go 2 india from USA by ship. can u please tell me the route. ?

is it travelling by ship costlier than travelling by flight?

Show all answers

dd
yes it is costlier and it will take approximately 20 days.. way too many... and there r no direct routes ... so u will have to break ur trip and u will end up catchin a flight to get to the ports anyway..and cruise (passenger) ships dont run everywhere... so in short.. FORGET IT...
if u want to travel by ship..go on a cruise vacation on one of the liners (example royal caribbean, disney, etc)

Genesis
well take a left at timbaktoo and then a go straigtht ...... srry im a asshole hahah

I believe the cost is more now to go by ship all depends on which coast you will be departing from, what the rout will be.

Arjun I
I don't think there are any ships that go to India from USA. Sorry, you are going to have fly to India. I would really recommend that.
But one thing that you can do is hitch a ride on a container ship or something like that. Or you can get a temporary job on a ship that is headed off to India!!! :)
