You will not get any snow in Manali in May. The weather will be nice and plesant though.
If you want to see snow you may have to go towards Kufri / Rohtang Pass and if you're lucky you will get snow there.

u can go to rohtang pass. there is even snow there in june

u'll not get any snow in Manali during May bt u can go to Rohtang Pass which is only 32 KM frm Manali and is very good place.At there u'll get alot of snow.

In May you need to be at vary high altitude and far north to see and enjoy snow.
The other place will be in the southern hemisphere, far enough south, or/and high altitude.

Just go up direction ladakh.;loads of snow if you are lucky!

Less chances but still manali is good place just go and enjoy ..yes you can find snow at rohtang pass one said very rightly.. If you need more help pls visit holidayclubindia.net
