most beach shacks are closed. while most night clubs are also shut, besides the 5 star hotels, Titos on calangute beach and mambos next to it are open

most of the beach shacks are shut, sea is too rough this time of year as the sea comes right in. those that are further back like Bitto's end of baga road, are open all year round also the shacks at the end of tito's road and titos itself are open. this is the time when the locals enjoy them selves, not too many tourist around. you'll find loads of bars restaunts still open and in panji, itself, well they never close. i went to goa in september, right at the end of monsoon. was the best time for me, not too many sellers hassling you. in fact i am trying to think if i encounted any sellers, lol. only back packing tourist. AND BEST OF ALL.. Prices for accommadation/drinks and food, are much cheaper at this time.. have been to Goa for all three seasons, and xmas and the newyear can be very expensive. your just a commodity/tourist at this time. people are much nicer when you visit out of season/monsoon. though the people are nice all the time. but this is there relaxation time before the tourist season begins
