How can I get a cab in Bangalore Airport at night?
As you exit the airport arrival lounge after baggage claim to your right you will Akbar Travels (they are a bit expensive but they are a private operator with govt approvals. Their cabs are mostly C segment cars and are all AC cars) and to you left you will find the KSTDC counter (Govt operated, lower on cost, mostly Maruti Omni and Tata Indica without AC). Both are very reliable and are pre-paid and 24 hours service. At night avoid a non pre-paid taxi if you are visiting the city for the 1st time.

You can get a government prepaid tax in the arrival lounge. Akbar travels also had prepaid taxi services in the arrival lounge.

In the arrival lounge before the exit gate , you have prepaid Taxi arrangements. Get the taxi booked in the KSTDC Counter to your required destination.
Pl. remember to request your required type of vehicle to suit your luggage needs.
i.e., whether you need an Indica or Maruthi Omni or Tata Sumo or any other vehicle depending on the no.of passengers and the luggage you have to take along with you. Otherwise they will give Indica Taxi which may not be meeting your requirement

Conveyance from Bangalore Airport is not a problem. There is a prepaid counter for both Cab and Autorikshaw in Bangalore Airport. Generally the Cab and Auto drivers are honest and they do not cheat.
